FAQ
• Based on your present concerns, we will match you with a therapist that fits your needs.
• We will set you up in our system and you will receive an email from Insight Neurocognitive and Behavioral Center with a link to access our portal.
• You will be asked to complete several forms prior to your first appointment. The forms include information about required consent forms, payment details, and background questionnaires.
• The first appointment is a clinical interview to review yours or your child’s history and your specific concerns. In the case of minors, the clinical interview is with parents only so that you can openly express your concerns. This session can be in-person or virtual.
• Follow-up appointments are 45-minutes long. Based on the case and clinical appropriateness, it can be conducted in-person or virtually. In case of minors, follow-up appointments are sometimes done with the child alone, with parents and the child together, or parent-only check-ins. We value and encourage parental involvement in the therapy process, particularly with younger children, in order to maximize therapeutic benefits.
