Para obtener estas acomodaciones, los organismos examinadores requieren una <\/span><b>evaluaci\u00f3n psicoeducativa completa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que respalde la necesidad de dichas modificaciones.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es una Evaluaci\u00f3n Psicoeducativa y Por Qu\u00e9 es Necesaria?<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Una <\/span><b>evaluaci\u00f3n psicoeducativa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> es una valoraci\u00f3n integral realizada por un psic\u00f3logo licenciado o especialista en educaci\u00f3n, que analiza:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El funcionamiento <\/span><b>cognitivo y acad\u00e9mico<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> del estudiante<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La presencia de <\/span><b>d\u00e9ficits de atenci\u00f3n, dificultades de aprendizaje<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> u otras condiciones del desarrollo<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C\u00f3mo estas condiciones <\/span><b>afectan su desempe\u00f1o acad\u00e9mico<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, especialmente durante pruebas de alto rendimiento como el SAT y el ACT<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esta evaluaci\u00f3n provee la documentaci\u00f3n necesaria para que el <\/span><b>College Board<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (SAT) o <\/span><b>ACT, Inc.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> consideren las acomodaciones bajo la <\/span><b>Ley de Estadounidenses con Discapacidades (ADA)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo y C\u00f3mo Solicitar una Evaluaci\u00f3n Psicoeducativa?<\/b><\/h3><h4><b>1. Agenda tu evaluaci\u00f3n con anticipaci\u00f3n<\/b><\/h4><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si t\u00fa o tu hijo est\u00e1n considerando presentar el SAT o ACT y sospechan que podr\u00edan necesitar acomodaciones, <\/span><b>programa la evaluaci\u00f3n con suficiente tiempo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. El proceso de aprobaci\u00f3n puede tardar varias semanas o incluso meses.<\/span><\/p><h4><b>2. Trabaja en conjunto con la escuela<\/b><\/h4><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si ya cuentas con un <\/span><b>IEP (Plan de Educaci\u00f3n Individualizado)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> o un <\/span><b>Plan 504<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, esta evaluaci\u00f3n puede servir para actualizar o complementar dicha documentaci\u00f3n, y facilitar el proceso de solicitud ante el ente examinador.<\/span><\/p><h4><b>3.
